How does E-Pharma work?
With a few minor changes, your company's web site can integrate with E-Pharma. You continue to maintain your own web site on whatever server you choose. E-Pharma can reside on your existing server(s) or on external server(s) hosted.
Your customers who normally visit your web site can register and apply for user-ID and password via a link on your web site. Once the user-ID and password approved, customers can access E-Pharma through another link on your web site by entering a valid User-ID and password. E-Pharma provides a secured environment for users to select items and add, remove, or change item quantities, as well as make the final order and proceed with the payment options. At the point of purchase, our system automatically calculates totals and other charges and e-mails the user an "Order Acknowledgement" while updating the database with the new order information.

Is E-Pharma multi-lingual?
Yes. E-Pharma is designed to be multi-lingual. Currently E-Pharma supports English and French, but it can be easily upgraded to support any other languages.

Do customers need a User-ID and password for accessing E-Pharma?
Yes. E=Pharma keeps track of your inventory. You can add, delete or change to/from your existing inventory through a user friendly online GUI interface. Every time a new order is processed, the existing inventory is updated.

Yes. A monthly invoice is generated and sent to each customer every month. The customer is also allowed to view his/her monthly invoice and orders.

How are payments processed?
You will need to have a merchant account already set up. We do not establish accounts with payment processors, nor do we actually collect credit card payments. If you do not have a merchant account talk to your bank - they'll take care of you. This is a basic prerequisite for all businesses wishing to accept credit cards whether they do business online or off-line.

Are there other type of accounts beside the customer accounts?
There are four different types of accounts, namely,
Customer account that allows a customer to place, cancel and view orders
Admin account has the highest level of privileges.
Sales account that allows a sales person to view a customer's orders that are assigned to him/her and process them.
Logistics account allows the logistics provider to view list of the packages waiting to be shipped and update status of the orders after the shipment.

How are orders processed?
Your system administrator (the one with highest privileges) need to login using the admin User-ID and password. The system administrator assigns customers to sales processing representatives. The system then, informs each sales processing representative about the new customers that are assigned to him/her via a pre-defined email address. The system administrator can also view status of all customers' orders.
Sales processing representatives process their customers' orders and update orders' statuses as required.

How is E-Pharma managed?
The “Administrator” account(s) is granted the highest level of privileges including the following:
Setup or remove accounts including customer, logistics and sales-rep accounts. An e-mail will be sent to the customer, logistics provider and sales-rep to inform them of their account status within the system.
Grant access privileges to the customer, logistics and sales-rep accounts. An e-mail will be sent to the customer, logistics providers and sales-rep to inform them of their access privileges within the system.
Add, edit, or remove drugs from drug catalog.
View monthly sales reports.
The “Administrator” assigns each sale representative a “Sales-Rep”’ account. Every customer is assigned to a sale representative. Sale representatives can be assigned zero or more customer accounts.

How do pharmacies use E-Pharma?
Your customers will receive a special user-ID and password that allow them to browse, print-description, view or order drugs by adding them to shopping cart and proceeding to check out. Customers update, view or cancel new orders or existing orders from the server via their browser. Payment can be made using an online credit card transaction process or can be billed.

What privileges associated with Sales-Rep accounts?
The “sales-rep” account will enable the sale representative to perform the following tasks:
View customer’s orders that are assigned to him/her.
Update each order to reflect the actual status. At any time, each order can have one of the following status: New, On_Hold, Rejected, and Processed.
After order is processed, packaged and ready to be shipped, an e_mail is automatically generated and sent to the logistics provider.The content of the e-mail can be customized.

How do logistics providers use E-Pharma?
Logistics providers will be given an account allowing them to view list of the packages ready to be shipped. They update status of orders as they pick up and deliver packages. After product is shipped, an e_mail is automatically generated and sent to the customer.The content of the e_mail can be customized.

How our existing web site needs to be modified to accommodate E-Pharma?
There will be two links from your company's web site, to the E-Pharma. The first link allows your customers to register and apply for a user-ID and password. The second link allows your customers access the E-Pharma using their user-ID and password. E-Pharma can be resided in your network or in external server(s).

What about security issues? How safe is this system?
E-Pharma uses the most advanced security schemes currently available. Our system will rise to meet any new challenge! The beauty of our system is that we continue to enhance its abilities and boost our security even more. Please note however, that security concerns on the Internet are for the most part, overblown. Using credit cards for purchasing still affords the consumer maximum protection - and even if anyone could 'steal' credit card data, they would get caught trying to use it, and the consumer can always contest the charges. Before you think about someone stealing data from the Internet, you should be more worried about the minimum wage gas station attendants and automated machines that leave receipts laying around. Nonetheless, we take great pains to ensure our system is extremely secure. You will not find a more powerful and safe method of conducting commerce online.

What if I don't have a web site but, want to get one set-up to use E-Pharma?
We can provide complete web hosting services, domain name registration, e-mail boxes, and everything you would need, including graphic design, marketing, HTML coding, etc. However, UrmaTech focuses mainly on B2B e-commerce applications and we provide these services only for our customers' convenience.

What if I have a large product inventory on a private computer system and I want to integrate this into E-Pharma?
One of our specialties is database conversion. If you're in the above situation, we can save you tons of time! Since our products are open systems, it may be easily connected to a corporate/business database by means of SQL queries. We develop a connectivity module for each of your databases. Depending upon the size and scope of your database, there would be a one-time charge for the service. The entire process can be done very quickly.
